Executive Director
Kelly Cunningham
Kelly co-founded BASIC in 2003. She has an extensive graphic design background as well as strong organizational skills. Her leadership in everything from defining goals to designing outreach materials to planning events is crucial to the organization.

Kelly is a visual thinker who excels in identifying/branding for corporations, marketing and promotional materials, and technical HR work. Kelly fine-tuned her art direction sensibilities working in various creative agencies and corporate marketing positions, working with major corporations such as Cuno, NY Life Securities, Hearst, Gruner & Jahr, Ogilvy, GreenPoint Bank and Chase Bank.

In January 2003 she started pointCREATIVEgroup, a full service creative design and art firm. For the past year she has incorporated marketing solar in the New York City area into her business plan.

Jeff Perlman
Jeff has worked at a consultant in renewable energy doining such tasks as solar industry technology assessment, business plan development and financial/market analysis. In 2003, he designed a successful solar marketing campaign to NYC architects for Solar Energy Systems (www.solaresystems.com). He is a trained solar installer and has done professional rooftop installations, as well as worked with a team to design and build a solar powered car. Jeff is also a musician. He is a co-founder of BASIC and President of Bright Power, Inc.
